I Fall in Love Too Easily

Lyrics:Sammy Cahn
Music:Jule Styne

The song was publishe 1944.

The beautiful song was sung by Sinatra in 1945's film "Anchors Aweigh."
It was a nominee song for Oscar, but the winner was
"It Might As Well Be Spring" of "State Fair."
Lately I could hardly watch Sinatra's dancing with Gene Kelly
who had a real skill of it.
Sinatra's legs wouldn't be stretched straight.
I know I should say Kelly's work had been too marvelous of cause.
This picture was not only a great musical but also propaganda for US Army.
But there includes many joyous musical numbers and fine big pictures.

Anchors Aweigh

There are those who can leave love or take it
Love to them is just what they make it
I wish that I were the same
But love is my fav'rite game

I fall in love too easily
I fall in love too fast
I fall in love too terribly hard
For love to ever last

My heart should be well-schooled
'Cause I've been FOOLED in the past
And still I fall in love too easily
I fall in love too fast
